Day 1 - 2 - 3: Explore Luang Prabang – A peaceful oasis

My daughter was delighted to find cute souvenirs, while my wife picked out some lovely clothes. In the afternoon, we all enjoyed a warm and delicious Lao-style barbecue – a truly cozy and tasty meal.

On our second day in Vientiane, we visited the Lao National Museum to delve into Laos' rich history and culture, gaining a deeper understanding of its journey from ancient to modern times. Next, we traveled 25 km to Buddha Park (Xieng Khuan), a surreal site with over 200 Buddha and mystical statues blending religious and cultural symbols from Southeast Asia. We admired the unique sculptures and peaceful ambiance before heading to Wat Si Muang, a serene Buddhist temple known for its spiritual significance, top famous temples in Vientiane. In the evening, we enjoyed a peaceful stroll along the Mekong River promenade, savoring local snacks like fried spring rolls and sticky rice desserts while watching the sunset.

Day 7 - 8 - 9 : Vientiane - Hanoi - Halong Bay

We arrived in Hanoi Vietnam after a short flight from Vientiane. The energy of the city was palpable from the moment we stepped off the plane. The bustling streets, the aroma of street food, and the clamor of motorcycles created an exciting backdrop for our adventures.
