We also had the option to attend a water puppet show, an optional yet truly enriching experience that allowed us to dive deeper into the culture of northern Vietnam. By late morning, we returned to land and drove back to Hanoi (around 4 hours). We ended the day by settling into our hotel for a restful final night.

10. Day 10: Hanoi - Departure

On our last day in Vietnam, we had the freedom to leave at our preferred time. Depending on our flight schedule, we took a pleasant morning walk through the picturesque streets of the Old Quarter, strolled around Hoan Kiem Lake, or savored one last egg coffee (cà phê trứng), a local specialty that had left a lasting impression on our taste buds.
