Customer reviews about Bai Dinh Pagoda
Devina's review
The vast campus of Bai Dinh Pagoda requires at least 2 to 3 hours to explore. Purchasing a ticket is mandatory to access the electric shuttles that transport visitors from the parking area to the main temple sites. Walking to the sites is not recommended due to the significant distance.
Ticket options :
- Economy ticket : Drops you off at the entrance to the temple grounds. You will then need to explore the vast site on foot (recommended).
- Premium Ticket : Electric shuttles take you to the nearest designated points, thus reducing the walking distance and saving time.
The complex offers a peaceful environment with numerous pagodas, gardens, and a breathtaking panoramic view from the top. A visit is recommended if you have enough time and personal transportation.

Reviews of trip boat tours in Tam Coc
Craig's review
During our scheduled visit, prices and tips were set for the boat tour. Even though there are many sampans on the river, the scenery is still breathtaking. The route includes going through three caves before returning.
At the turnaround point, be prepared for vendors in boats offering drinks and souvenirs. To avoid delays, bring some change as they do not provide change. Drink purchases are encouraged to support vendors.
Observe their unique rowing technique with their feet. This picturesque tour is worth the effort, but remember to get on and off the boat one person at a time to avoid getting wet.
Review by Leannies about the boat trip at Tam Coc
As a family of four, we opted for a boat ride in Tam Coc. As foreigners, we were assigned two boats of two, unlike Trang An where four people can board together.
The ticket purchase went smoothly, and we proceeded directly to our boat. We chose a 10 AM departure to avoid the afternoon heat.
Our tour guide was very talkative. The tour lasts about 1 hour and 30 minutes, which seems appropriate since there are no stops. Although the boats are a bit more comfortable than those in Trang An, they could still benefit from additional cushions.
This route involves going up and down the same stretch of river, passing through several small caves. Midway, vendors on boats approach passengers. We declined their offer, saying we had just had breakfast. One vendor then offered drinks for our guide, packaging items worth 20,000 VND in a store for 100,000 VND. We suspected the guide would not consume them and that the items would likely be returned later. Therefore, we refused and offered the sum of 100,000 VND directly to the guide as a tip, which he clearly preferred.
Shelly's review about sampans in Tam Coc
During our stay in Tam Coc, our family was delighted. Following sound advice, we chose a boat tour in Trang An, a choice we highly recommend.
The idyllic landscape of Tam Coc amazed us with its beauty. We easily rented bicycles to explore the surroundings at our own pace, free from any solicitation.
Thanks to careful preparation, our immersion became richer. We discovered charming shops and accommodations. We attended a dance session or physical exercises led by a group of women, a pleasant sight. Although lack of coordination prevented us from participating, it was still a memorable moment.
Tam Coc will remain an unforgettable memory of our trip to Vietnam. We hope this natural gem will be preserved from excessive tourist influx, so its splendor remains intact.
