After this morning, I prepared for my departure to Sapa. Nestled in the northern mountains, Sapa is renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and ethnic minorities. The lunch served on board, featuring fresh seafood, was a delight for the taste buds. In the afternoon, we explored Sung Sot Cave, an impressive cavern adorned with stalactites and stalagmites in fascinating shapes.
The sunset over the bay offered a magical spectacle, with the islets silhouetted against a fiery sky. The evening continued with a night squid fishing session, a fun activity that fostered camaraderie among the passengers. The puppeteers, hidden behind a curtain, brought colorful characters to life on the water, narrating legends and stories from local folklore. Accompanied by traditional music, the performance was a captivating glimpse into the cultural soul of Vietnam.
