Dong Van Geological Park. As I stood there, encircled by towering karst peaks, I felt as though I was on top of the world. From there, we ventured to the
Palace of the H’Mong King, an architectural marvel tucked into the Sa Phin Valley. This grand residence, built from solid plateau stones, was a window into a rich history and culture. I marveled at the intricate design and craftsmanship, imagining the life of Vuong Chi Sinh and his family within those walls. The serene beauty of the valley below added to the magical atmosphere.
Our next stop was
Sung La Valley, a charming town where the H’Mong and Lo Lo people live in harmony. Visiting a traditional wooden and clay house was like stepping back in time. As I wandered through the H’Mong village, I was greeted by vibrant rose gardens and lush vegetable fields, a testament to the hardworking spirit of the community. Crossing into the Lo Lo hamlet, I couldn’t help but admire their colorful traditional attire and the warmth of their smiles. Along the way, we made a few scenic stops to soak in the last glimpses of North Vietnam's beauty. Back to Hanoi, I realized this trip had not only shown me some of Vietnam's most beautiful landscapes but also deepened my appreciation for its rich culture.
