I just got back from a Vietnam itinerary 3 weeks and honestly, it was one of the most incredible experiences I’ve ever had, especially 6-day trip Bac Kan Cao Bang Ha Giang, The landscapes were absolutely stunlace, calm, clear lakes, powerful waterfalls, and dramatic mountain passes that seemed to go on forever. Every place we visited had its own unique charm, but all of it felt untouched and completely awe-inspiring.

What made this North Vietnam itinerary truly special was the deep cultural immersion. The Tay, Nung, and Hmong communities welcomed us with warmth, making every moment feel personal. 1. Day 1: Hanoi - Ba Be (Bac Kan) - Ba Be lake

Our adventure to Bac Kan Cao Bang Ha Giang 6 days began as we set off for Ba Be Lake, known as the "Halong Bay of the mountain". 4. Day 4: Khuoi Khon – Meo Vac – Dong Van

Our day began with a visit to Khuoi Khon village, home to the Black Lo Lo people. Stepping into their village felt like walking into a living storybook. The Black Lo Lo, with their vibrant traditional attire and warm smiles, welcomed us with open arms. Learning about their way of life was deeply moving, especially knowing that this village gained international recognition when "France 2" featured it in the show "Rendez-vous en terre inconnue" with the renowned rugby player Michalak. It felt surreal to be in the same place that captivated viewers around the world, and the villagers’ pride in sharing their culture was truly inspiring.

From Khuoi Khon, we embarked on a thrilling drive toward the legendary Ma Pi Leng pass, one of Vietnam’s most awe-inspiring mountain roads. Known as the "Horse’s Nose Ridge Mountain," this pass offered views that defy description. Standing atop this 25-kilometer stretch connecting Meo Vac and Dong Van, I felt as though I was on the edge of the world. The steep cliffs, lush valleys, and the winding Nho Que river far below made every moment along the pass unforgettable. It’s incredible to think that this road, called the "Happiness Road", was carved by the hands of ethnic minorities just 11 months back in 1965. Their monumental effort is a testament to human resilience and determination.

As we descended toward Dong Van, I couldn’t help but reflect on how this region is a harmonious blend of natural beauty and human spirit. The sights, the history, and the people made every mile of today’s journey unforgettable.

We ended the day in Dong Van Ha Giang, a charming town nestled in the mountains. After a simple but hearty meal, I fell asleep with a heart full of gratitude and a camera full of incredible photos. Today wasn’t just about visiting places; it was about experiencing the soul of northern Vietnam.

5. Day 5: Dong Van – Thon Tha Village

On day 5 of my incredible journey through Bac Kan Cao Bang Ha Giang, the adventure was nothing short of breathtaking. The day began with a climb up a high pass to reach the awe-inspiring "Heaven's Gate", the entrance to the Dong Van Geological Park.
