As I embarked on my Mekong Delta 3-day tour, I had no idea that this trip would be so much more than just a vacation, it was a soulful experience that left me in awe. 1. Day 1: Saigon - Ben Tre - Cho Lach

On the first day of my Mekong Delta tour 3 days 2 nights, we were warmly greeted by our guide and driver, who whisked us away to Ben Tre, the enchanting "Coconut Kingdom" of Vietnam. We boarded a boat to explore the Ben Tre river, one of the Mekong’s peaceful branches, and visited fascinating local workshops, where skilled artisans crafted traditional bricks and sweet coconut candies. 2. Day 2: Cho Lach - Sadec - Can Tho

On Day 2 of this 3 days Mekong delta itinerary, the adventure continued with a refreshing morning Mekong delta cycling tour through countryside. The lush greenery and peaceful atmosphere were a joy to experience, and we had the chance to see locals hard at work in their orchards, offering a glimpse into the daily life of the region.

We spent an hour exploring this picturesque village, marveling at the delicate artistry of the bonsai trees. 3. Day 3: Can Tho - Cai Rang Floating Market - Saigon. End of your trip

On the last days of Mekong Delta 3 day tour, we began the day bright and early with a thrilling motorboat ride to the famous Cai Rang floating market. As we cruised through the bustling waterway, I was in awe of the vibrant scene, boats brimming with fresh fruits, vegetables, and all sorts of goods. It was incredible to see how the market operates, with sellers showcasing their products by hanging them from long bamboo poles, from juicy watermelons to colorful pineapples. There was even a boat selling meals, tea, and snacks, adding to the lively atmosphere of the market.

After soaking in the sights, we returned to the pier and began our scenic journey back to Saigon, this ended my Mekong delta tour 3 days 2 nights ended. Thanks to the new Can Tho and Vinh Long bridges, the drive was smooth and effortless, with no need for ferry crossings. Along the way, we stopped for a delicious bowl of Pho at a local restaurant, a perfect way to experience authentic Vietnamese cuisine before reaching the bustling city of Ho Chi Minh. We arrived back in Saigon, where the journey concluded, leaving me with unforgettable memories of the Mekong Delta’s beauty and its vibrant culture.
