After breakfast, we visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, one of the must-see sites when you visit the Mekong Delta. What impressed me most was its unique architecture, blending Asian and European styles, influenced by five cultures: Vietnamese, Khmer, Chinese, French, and Roman.

At noon, we take a boat trip to Thoi Son Islet, one of my favorite experiences during our 4 days in Tien Giang Ben Tre. Tasting these candies on-site, with their perfect balance of sweetness and chewy texture, was unforgettable.

After enjoying tropical fruits in a lush orchard, we switch to a small rowing boat to explore deeper into the narrow canals (arroyos) lined with water coconut trees. The peaceful atmosphere, reflections on the water, and surrounding greenery create a true experience that I would recommend for an itinerary 4 days in Tien Giang Ben Tre, especially ideal for photography lovers.

The morning weather in Ben Tre was pleasantly cool, making it ideal for cycling through the countryside. Along the way, we passed lush vegetation, small canals, and scenes of locals working in their orchards. This part of our Mekong Delta trip gave us the chance to interact with local people and observe the simple daily life of the Mekong Delta region.

Beyond its reputation as the “kingdom of coconut trees,” Ben Tre is also considered a major fruit-growing area of southern Vietnam. During our ride, we easily came across green, fruit-laden orchards.
