Not far from Bangkok, my family and I began our 3-day trip to Pattaya in eastern Thailand. Originally a quiet fishing village, Pattaya has gradually developed various tourist activities and has become one of the must-visit cities in Thailand, especially for beach lovers.
Indeed, we had the chance to experience unforgettable beach stays and enjoy the city’s vibrant atmosphere. Our 3-day itinerary in Pattaya was carefully designed by the Thailand travel company Autour Asia. Pattaya is divided into 3 main areas, each with its distinct characteristics:
We traveled to Pattaya in November. During this time of the year, our weather in Pattaya 3 days was quite cool and pleasant, ideal for enjoying our beach vacation in this beautiful city.
Leaving from Bangkok, we chose to drive to Pattaya. The journey took about 2 hours, which was quite quick. We left early in the morning to have more time to enjoy our 3-day itinerary in Pattaya.
There are plenty of accommodation options in Pattaya, from luxurious beachfront resorts to hotels. If you prefer tranquility, you can opt for the northern or southern parts of the city, but for more convenience in sightseeing, we chose to stay in a hotel in the city center.
Our hotel was located near Walking Street, a lively and vibrant area. This made it easy for us to visit Pattaya's popular sites. The hotel price was reasonable, the rooms were clean and well-equipped, and we were quite satisfied with the hotel recommended by our travel advisor.
Moreover, Pattaya downtown is ideal for those wanting to explore nightlife activities, while also offering quiet corners perfect for families.
On the first day in Pattaya, we began with a visit to the Sanctuary of Truth, a stunning wooden monument that combines a temple and a palace, offering an immersion into Thai culture and spirit.
Next, we enjoyed a delicious lunch at Mum Aroi Naklua restaurant, known for its traditional Thai cuisine and serene atmosphere with a sea view.
In the afternoon, we explored the Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden, with its beautiful themed gardens and impressive cultural shows.
In the evening, we dined at a local restaurant famous for Pattaya specialties, while admiring a spectacular sunset. To end the first day of our 3-day itinerary in Pattaya, the tour guide took us, along with my children, to the top of Phra Tamnak Hill, where we appreciated a panoramic view of Pattaya illuminated at night.
On the second day of our 3-day itinerary in Pattaya, we enjoyed the beauty of the beaches. We started the day with a swim at Pattaya Beach, which was not crowded early in the morning, and the water was crystal clear, perfect for relaxing.
Then, we savored a fresh seafood lunch at a seaside restaurant before taking a boat to Koh Larn Island in the afternoon. There, we went snorkeling and observed colorful and diverse corals. It was one of the most memorable experiences of our 3-day trip to Pattaya.
In the evening, we returned to Pattaya to explore the vibrant Walking Street, with its lively atmosphere and night entertainment. We sampled street food and ended the evening with a relaxing Thai massage.
For the last day of our 3-day itinerary in Pattaya, we started with a morning full of adventures at Ramayana Water Park, one of my children’s favorite spots, with its slides and wave pool.
Then, we visited and had lunch at the Pattaya Floating Market. In the afternoon, we took a stroll around Central Pattaya, where we bought some souvenirs.
To end our stay, we relaxed at the hotel or took a walk on the beach to enjoy the sea breeze. We then had a quiet evening before leaving this charming city the next morning, thus concluding our 3-day trip to Pattaya.
Mr. Anes's family’s 3-day itinerary in Pattaya ended successfully, with many memorable moments in this vibrant coastal city. Moreover, Pattaya is full of surprises awaiting visitors. Plan your trip with Autour Asia and start your Southeast Asia adventure now!
