1. Day 1: Hanoi - Lan Ha Bay - Dark & Light Cave Kayak - Swimming

The day began with a pick-up from my hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter, around 7:00 AM. The shuttle bus was comfortable and made a few stopovers along the way, perfect for stretching your legs and getting refreshed before arriving at Beo Harbor. I arrived at Beo Harbor at 11:30 AM, where I was transferred by tender to the Sunlight Boutique Cruise Lan Ha Bay. At 8:00 AM, we set off on a bicycle ride to Viet Hai Village. It was a great way to get up close to the natural beauty of Cat Ba National Park. The village was small and charming, and it felt like I had stepped back in time to a simpler way of life. The ride was about 5 km, which was manageable and enjoyable with the picturesque scenery around us.

By 9:30 AM, we returned to the boat, had a refreshing shower, and prepared for check-out. At 11:00 AM, lunch was served on board, and I was already reminiscing about the incredible experience I had just had. We disembarked at Beo Harbor at 12:00 PM and said goodbye to Cat Ba Island before heading back to Hanoi.
