My exploration began with the Tham Khoun Xe Cave, one of the most impressive I've ever seen, with its spectacular rock formations and navigable underground river. Next, I went to Khoon Kong Leng Lake, famous for its incredibly clear turquoise waters. It's a peaceful, almost magical place, surrounded by nature.

For a bit of an adrenaline rush, I tried the zipline at Rock Viewpoint: it's easy to access, even for beginners, and the panoramic view of the karst mountains is breathtaking. Thakhek truly offered me an immersion in wild nature and total serenity.

I stayed at the Spring River Resort, a little paradise nestled on the river, perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure.
