Impressions Of A 7-day Trip To Bangkok And Phuket By Mr. Maverick

1. Day 1: Arrival in Bangkok

Khao San Road: one of the best places to visit in Bangkok for first timers
We arrived in Bangkok late in the afternoon and were warmly welcomed by a private driver arranged by Autour Asia. After settling into our hotel and taking a short rest, we set out to explore the city’s vibrant nightlife.
Our first stop was the famous Khao San Road, known for its festive atmosphere, lively bars, and delicious street food. Enjoying an authentic pad Thai with a fresh coconut water was a real treat! Bangkok at night is vibrant and electrifying, an unmissable experience among the best things to do in Bangkok. But knowing we had a busy day ahead, we decided to head back to rest and recharge.

2. Day 2: Exploring the Grand Palace and the Sacred Emerald Buddha

The next morning in Bangkok Phuket itinerary 7 days, our driver took us to one of Bangkok’s most iconic sites: the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew). From the moment we entered, I was amazed by the majestic architecture and the golden rooftops gleaming in the sun.
Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew)
The highlight of the visit was the Emerald Buddha, a sacred statue dressed in three different outfits according to the season, a ritual performed by the king himself. The atmosphere was filled with respect and spirituality, making it one of the most memorable moments of our trip.
In the evening, we explored the Yaowarat district, Bangkok’s Chinatown, where we enjoyed delicious dim sum and Thai iced tea. A deep dive into the local cuisine, which is undoubtedly one of the best things to do in Bangkok for food lovers.

3. Day 3: Visiting the railway market, floating Market, and mangrove forest boat tour

Maeklong Railway Market: A unique experience in the heart of the tracks
We hit the road early in the morning to witness the impressive spectacle of the Maeklong Railway Market. Seeing the vendors fold up their stalls as the train approached, and then quickly setting them back up right after it passed, was fascinating.

Next, we headed to the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Riding a long-tail boat, we navigated through the colorful stalls, listening to the vendors offering exotic fruits, grilled skewers, and handmade souvenirs. The scent of grilled bananas and sticky rice with mango filled the air, a true feast for the senses. These markets are unmissable if you’re looking for the best things to do in Bangkok to experience the local culture.
The day continued with a tour through the Klong Klone mangrove forest. On our boat, we spotted wild monkeys swimming alongside us, approaching to beg for food. It was a unique experience that left a lasting impression.
Back in Bangkok, we were still in awe of this authentic dive into the local culture.

4. Day 4: Bangkok to Phuket

After a final look at Bangkok, we took a morning flight to Phuket. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a sea breeze and bright sunshine, promising relaxation and a change of scenery.
Patong Beach in Phuket
We spent the afternoon wandering along Patong Beach, with our feet in the sand and a coconut in hand. Relaxing on one of the island’s most beautiful beaches is definitely one of the best things to do in Phuket. The sunset over the ocean was a magical sight. After a delicious seafood dinner, we headed back to the hotel for a peaceful night before the next day’s boat trip.

5. Day 5: Exploring Phi Phi Islands, Maya Bay, and Bamboo Island

This day was undoubtedly one of the most memorable of our trip to Thailand: a speedboat excursion to the famous Phi Phi Islands. Early in the morning, we left our hotel in Phuket, eager to discover these postcard-worthy landscapes.
Maya Bay: A paradise of white sand and turquoise waters in Thailand!
Our first stop was Maya Bay, made famous by the movie The Beach. As soon as we stepped onto the pristine sand, we were in awe of the beauty of the place. Surrounded by towering cliffs, the crystal-clear water invited us to swim. Taking the time to appreciate the scenery and capture the moments was a real joy.
Best activities in Phuket
We then continued our journey to the Pileh Lagoon, a magical place where the emerald-green water is so clear that you can see the bottom several meters deep. Here, we took a refreshing swim, surrounded by spectacular rock formations. Next, we stopped at the Viking Cave, where we observed ancient cave paintings and listened to fascinating stories about its history.
A little further, we landed on Monkey Beach, where we were greeted by a group of mischievous little residents. These macaques aren’t shy about approaching visitors, curious and playful, sometimes trying to steal a snack or a shiny object.
One of the highlights of the day was definitely the snorkeling at Phi Phi Don. Once in the water, we found ourselves surrounded by schools of colorful fish swimming around the coral reefs. Observing the underwater life in this idyllic setting was absolutely fascinating.
A diving day at Phi Phi Don is an experience not to be missed!
After this eventful morning, we took a well-deserved lunch break on Phi Phi Island. In a small seaside restaurant, we enjoyed grilled fish, fragrant rice, and tropical fruits.
Bamboo Island: a pristine paradise with clear waters and marine adventures
The afternoon was spent relaxing on Bamboo Island, a paradise island with white sandy beaches and turquoise waters. Lying under the palm trees, lulled by the sound of the waves, we fully savored this moment of tranquility. Some of us took one last swim in the incredibly clear water, while others simply relaxed and enjoyed the view.
In the evening, we boarded the boat to return to Phuket, our hearts still full of emotions. The journey back allowed us to take one last look at the breathtaking scenery.
This excursion will surely remain one of the unforgettable moments of our trip. For anyone looking for the best things to do in Phuket, a day at the Phi Phi Islands is an absolute must!

6. Days 6 & 7: Leisure in Phuket and goodbye to Thailand

7-day trip to Bangkok and Phuket
For our last two days, we decided to fully enjoy Phuket: sunbathing, exploring local markets, and tasting specialties like Tom Yum soup and sticky rice with mango. Strolling through the old town, with its colorful houses and relaxing atmosphere, was a delightful surprise and remains one of the best things to do in Phuket for culture and photography lovers. Before leaving this paradise island, we did some shopping to bring a piece of Thailand back with us.
As the plane took off, I turned one last time towards the endless ocean, promising myself that I would return one day. This trip was not only a discovery, but a true immersion into Thailand’s culture, nature, and cuisine.
If you’re looking for an adventure combining history, nature, and relaxation, this Bangkok Phuket itinerary 7 days is ideal. And for a flawless organization, I highly recommend Autour Asia, Thailand Travel Agency, whose impeccable service made our journey even more enjoyable.

Opinion By Roussel On The 2-day Vietnam Farm Tour

Noah Experiences of customers
To discover Vietnam from a different perspective, I chose a 2-day Vietnam farm tour , far from the usual tourist routes. My goal was simple: to leave the big cities behind, understand the daily life of local farmers, and take part in activities I had never experienced before. Rather than moving from one monument or guided tour to another, I wanted to slow down, observe, learn, and connect with local people. With the help of a local travel agency in Hanoi , I was able to plan an experience centered around rural life, traditional farming practices, and shared meals with local families. Here is what I took away from these two days.

Review Of Hubert About 2 Weeks In Central And North Vietnam

Noah Experiences of customers
I’ve just returned from 2 weeks in Central and North Vietnam , and I’m left with the feeling that I discovered several different sides of the country without spending most of my time on the road. Before leaving, I was mainly looking for a varied itinerary combining major cultural sites, beautiful scenery, and enough free time to enjoy each destination at my own pace. From Hanoi to Hoi An, with stops in Ninh Binh, Lan Ha Bay, and Hue, each place had its own atmosphere and experiences to offer. Here is my personal feedback on this 2 weeks in Central and North Vietnam trip, including the moments that stayed with me and a few tips I would give another traveler today. Organizing the trip with a local travel agency in Hanoi also gave me greater peace of mind throughout the journey.
