You will reach the village of Tha, inhabited by the Tay ethnic group. A brief walk will allow you to explore the daily life of local farmers (Thôn Tha - Phương Độ commune, Ha Giang city).
Tonight, you will stay with a local family in a guesthouse equipped with showers and hot water for an authentic experience.

We'll ascend a grand pass to "the Gate of Heaven" - the entrance to the Đồng Văn Geological Park, known for its karst landscapes. At the pass, we'll climb stairs for a panoramic view of the Nui Doi (Fairy Bosom) in Tam Son, renowned for its karst rock landscapes.

We'll visit a traditional house made of wood and clay, and take a walk in the H’Mong village, crossing rose and vegetable fields to reach the colorful Lo Lo hamlet. An exceptional site on our route: a visit to the Palace of the H'Mong King Vương Chí Sình, unique in size and architecture, built of plateau stones and hidden at the foot of the Sa Phin valley.
Not far from the town of Dong Van, several stops along the way to admire magnificent karst rocks shaped like sugar loaves.

The morning will be dedicated to exploring one of the four highest and most impressive passes in Vietnam, the Ma Pi Leng Pass (Mountain in the shape of a Horse's Nose). This 25km-long route connects the Dong Van and Meo Vac districts, perched high on a mountain range above the Nho Que River, and on the other side, it borders China. It was named the "Happiness Road" by the Vietnamese after 11 months of work by several ethnic minorities in 1965.
Lunch will be on your own in Mèo Vac before heading towards Khuổi Khon (Bảo Lạc). We'll make a detour to visit the Black Lo Lo people in the village of Khuoi Khon, where "France 2" filmed the show "RDV en terre inconnue" with the famous rugby player Michalak.
Dinner will be in Khuổi Khon.
Overnight stay in Khuổi Khon or Bảo Lạc.

Then, we'll head to Khuổi Ky (Trùng Khánh - Cao Bằng) via a road with consistently rugged terrain and jagged mountains.

You'll visit the falls in the morning, followed by lunch at a local restaurant.
In the early afternoon, a few kilometers from the falls on the way back to Cao Bang, you'll explore the mysterious Nguom Ngao Cave, carved by nature into a limestone mountain range. It's considered one of the most beautiful caves in Vietnam.
