In March it gets hotter (up to 34 °C), and April is the hottest month of the year, with temperatures up to 35-38 °C and a perfect blue sky.

• Rainy season (May to November): heavy tropical rain, but short (often in the afternoon). The air is very wet, but the rain makes it cooler. Rain starts in May (220 mm and 18 rainy days), gets stronger in June-August (290-310 mm), is highest in September (325 mm and 23 rainy days), then less in October (265 mm) and November (115 mm).

The best time to visit Ho Chi Minh City is during the dry season, from December to April. At this time of year, the weather is sunny and relatively dry, creating perfect conditions for strolling around the city and discovering its attractions.

Why December to February is the “perfect moment” ?

Temperatures are pleasant, ranging from 23°C to 31°C, especially in the evening when a light breeze makes walking around the city very enjoyable. It is therefore an ideal time to explore monuments and markets or take a trip to the Mekong Delta. 3. Travel in the rainy season: is it a good idea ?

The showers are strong but short (30-60 minutes, often in the afternoon). Traffic can be slow and there can be small floods, but the city still works. Just avoid low areas during big storms.
