At 9:15 AM, we'll pick you up at our shop, Authentic Bat Trang, located in Hanoi's Old Quarter at 115 Hang Gai. From there, we'll transfer you to Bat Trang ceramics village, about 15 kilometers southeast of Hanoi center, which will take approximately 40 minutes.
At 10:15 AM, we'll arrive at Bat Trang village and head to our first stop, the Glaze Factory. Here, you'll witness the entire process of ceramic production, from molding and drying to firing and glazing. You'll gain insights into the various types of clay and glazes used in the production.
By 11:15 AM, we'll visit the oldest kiln in Bat Trang, known as LÒ BẦU CỔ, which has been in operation for over 200 years and still uses wood firing techniques. You'll have the opportunity to explore the interior of the kiln and learn about its fascinating history.
At noon, we'll enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch in Bat Trang village.
At 12:45 PM, after lunch, we'll explore the ancient side of Bat Trang village, with its old houses and narrow streets, providing a glimpse into the village's rich history. (Please note: Without a tour guide, navigating this area may be challenging.)
By 2:00 PM, we'll proceed to our next destination, the Hand Made and Hand Painted Factory, where all ceramics are crafted by hand. Here, you'll have the chance to observe artisans at work and even participate in a short pottery ceramics class.
At 4:00 PM, we'll transfer you back to your car for the journey back to Hanoi.
By 4:45 PM, we'll drop you off at our Authentic Bat Trang shop in Hanoi's Old Quarter, concluding our tour.
