Day 1: Arrive In Yangon (No Meals)
Upon arriving in Yangon, our guide will assist with your hotel check-in. Yangon, also known as Rangoon, is the largest city and former capital of Myanmar (Burma). It serves as the country's economic and cultural hub.

Day 2: Yangon City Tour (B/L)

On the second day of your Myanmar tour, explore Yangon's rich history with this summary:

Begin with an early breakfast in Yangon.

Start your city tour at the National Museum, diving into Myanmar's history.

Visit key attractions:

  • Sule Pagoda: Colonial-style architecture.
  • City Hall: Ideal for memorable photos.
  • Kandawgyi Lake: Featuring the picturesque Karaweik Hall.

Day 3: Yangon - Nyaung Oo - Bagan (B/L)

After checking out of your hotel, enjoy a picnic breakfast before heading to Yangon Mingaladon Airport for a domestic flight to Bagan (Nyaung Oo). Bagan is renowned for its ancient stupas and temples, making it one of Asia's most significant archaeological sites. The temples, dating back to the 11th and 13th centuries, have been remarkably preserved, establishing Bagan as a captivating tourist destination in Myanmar.

Upon arrival in Bagan, your 9-day Myanmar tour continues with visits to:

  • Nyaung Oo Market, a lively local market.
  • Shwezigon Pagoda, featuring a magnificent golden stupa.
  • Wetkyi-In Gubyaukgyi, showcasing fine plaster carvings and sandstone decorations.
  • Htilominlo Temple, known for its elegant architecture.
  • Lunch will be served in a local restaurant, followed by a visit to Ananda Temple, a masterpiece of early-style temple architecture with two original standing Buddha images.
  • Next, explore the village of Taung Bi and visit the temples Gawdawpalin and Thatbyinnyu, with a horse cart ride adding to the experience. The day culminates with a sunset view from one of the pagoda's open terraces.

Finally, our driver will transfer you to your hotel for the night, concluding your day of exploration in Bagan.

Day 4: Bagan - Discovery (B/L)

After breakfast at your hotel, our driver will pick you up and take you to Myinkaba village, where you'll have the unique opportunity to witness the traditional production of lacquerware, one of Myanmar's most famous handicrafts.

Next, your journey continues with visits to the historic monuments of Myinkaba village, including Gubyaukgyi, Manuha, and Nanpaya temples, all adorned with ancient mural paintings.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.

After your meal, your exploration of Bagan and your 9-day Myanmar tour takes you to the rural village of Minnanthu. This lesser-known temple area in Bagan provides a glimpse into the daily life of farmers and offers the chance to explore remarkable temples such as Payathonzu, influenced by Tantric Buddhism, as well as Lemyethna and Nandamannya temples. A special highlight awaits as you watch the sunset from the peak of Tayoke Pyay Temple.

Finally, you'll return to your hotel for the night, concluding another day of discovery in Bagan.

Day 5: Bagan - Pakkoku - Monywa (B/L)

Begin a new day with a cruise trip to Pakkoku. Along the way, make stops at fishing villages to meet the fishermen and gain insights into their daily lives. Upon arriving in Pakkoku in the afternoon, continue your exploration with visits to traditional riverside villages, where farmers climb palm trees to extract juice for making palm tree sugar.

The next destination on your Myanmar package tour is Pakkangyi, renowned as one of Myanmar's oldest surviving wooden monasteries. In the late afternoon, you'll head to Monywa.

Upon reaching Monywa, our guide will assist you in checking into your chosen hotel, marking the end of your day's adventures.

Day 6: Monywa - Po Win Daung - Mandalay (B/L)

You'll begin the day by visiting Monywa, a unique Burmese town situated near the Chindwin River. You'll take a ferry cruise along the Chindwin River and proceed to Po Win Daung to explore its incredible complex of 947 sandstone caves. This site, recently opened to foreigners, boasts precious frescoes dating back to the early 17th century. After climbing several hundred meters, you'll reach Shwe Ba Daung, another renowned destination with monasteries and temples carved into rocky narrow cliffs.

In the afternoon, your Myanmar 9-day tour continues with a visit to Thanboddhay Pagoda, featuring over 500,000 Buddha images covering every wall and archway of this immense Buddhist temple. Your next stop is Boditahtaung Pagoda, where you can admire Myanmar's largest reclining Buddha image, measuring 100 meters in length and 27 meters in height.

As the early evening approaches, you'll head to Mandalay for an overnight stay, concluding another day of exploration and discovery.
