Once settled in, you will have the freedom to enjoy your time at your own pace, indulging in various leisure activities.

Day 2: Phnom Penh City Tour (B; L)

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before a fascinating tour. Our first stop is Wat Phnom, a significant landmark and the highest point in Phnom Penh. It serves as the central point of the city, offering captivating views.

Next, visit Wat Unalom, a Buddhist Monastery with a pagoda and stupa of historical significance.

Continue to the Toul Sleng Genocide Museum, a transformed high school turned into an S-21 prison during the Khmer Rouge era.

Explore the haunting site to learn about the sufferings endured by innocent Cambodians and witness displays of torture devices and photographs. Enjoy lunch at Khmer Sorin, a local restaurant.

Day 4: Discovery Of Angkor Temples (Angkor Wat – Ta Prohm - Angkor Thom) – Local House High Tea – Bakheng Sunset (B)

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a guided tour of Angkor Wat Temple, a remarkable architectural wonder and a significant part of Khmer culture and civilization. Explore the temple's three levels, admiring the intricate stone carvings of Apsaras from the Angkor period. Next, visit Srah Srang, the ancient royal pool where King Jayavarman VII used to bathe. Continue your adventure with a visit to Ta Prohm, the temple made famous by the movie "Tomb Raider." Marvel at the temple's enchanting state of being embraced by the jungle, where colossal tree roots intermingle with the temple ruins. This surreal scene will leave a lasting impression on your memory. Experience the tranquility of this magical site without the crowds, allowing you to appreciate the harmony between mankind and nature.

Return to the hotel for a lunch break, where you can enjoy lunch at your own leisure.

In the afternoon, delve into the enigmatic Royal City of Angkor Thom. Its 50-tower temple is a mesmerizing sight, revealing hidden faces that transport you to a distant and primal era. Enter through the South Gate and take a unique walk along the 8-meter-high wall, surrounded by lush forests, until you reach the lesser-known Death Gate. Traverse the parkland, passing the Terraces of Elephants and Leper King, as you learn about the local trees and fruits. Conclude your afternoon tour with a visit to the iconic Bayon Temple, renowned for its captivating carved faces.

Witness the breathtaking sunset from Phnom Bakheng, one of the dominant hills overlooking the Angkor plain, providing a magnificent view of the Western Baray and Angkor Wat. Return to the hotel and enjoy dinner at your leisure.

Day 5: Visit Banteay Srei - Roluos Group Temple (B, L)

After a satisfying breakfast, our journey begins with a visit to the captivating Banteay Srei temple. Constructed in the 10th century, this remarkable temple is famous for its intricate pink sandstone carvings that adorn every surface, making it truly unique.

We will then hop in our car and head towards a cluster of hills, which will take approximately an hour to reach. Upon arrival near Kbal Spien, we will continue our exploration on foot, following a scenic white sand path that meanders through the jungle. Although the forest is beautiful, please be aware that there are a few narrow and steep sections along the way.

After approximately 40 minutes of walking, we will be greeted by the sound of a waterfall. While the initial appearance may not be extraordinary, we will soon discover that the riverbed and rocks are adorned with carvings depicting the gods of the Brahma religion, dating back to the 11th century. This awe-inspiring place is known as the "Thousand Lingas River" These stone carvings of Vishnu, Lakshmi, Hanuman, Rama, and numerous Lingas were created to sanctify the water and express gratitude to the gods. Following the sound of a small waterfall, we will continue along the river through a narrow gorge, using bamboo stairs to navigate a few steep passages, until we reach the picturesque waterfall.

You can enjoy a delightful pick-nick lunch at the base of the hill or opt for a local restaurant for your meal.

Next on our itinerary is a visit to Banteay Samre, a temple renowned for its intricate architecture and exceptional carvings. We will also have the opportunity to explore a local village and immerse ourselves in the daily lives of the people who reside there. Lastly, we will explore the Baray Oriental sites, which were built by Rajendravarman. These include Banteay Kdey, Pré Rup, Preasat Khleang, and Mébon Oriental.

Day 6: Phnom Krom - Tonle Sap Lake - Chong Kneas Floating Village (B; D)

Rise early in the morning and embark on a transfer to Phnom Krom, located 13km south of Siem Reap. Climb up the hill to witness the mesmerizing sunrise over the picturesque rice paddies and the floating village of Tonle Sap Lake. Enjoy a delightful picnic breakfast atop Phnom Krom. Afterward, embark on a boat ride to explore the Chong Kneas Floating Village on Tonle Sap Lake, immersing yourself in the daily life of the village residents. This unique experience offers a glimpse into the traditional riparian lifestyle and the natural beauty of the countryside. Continue your journey with a visit to the Artisan Dangkor workshop.

Return to the hotel for some relaxation time, and enjoy lunch at your own leisure.

At 3 pm, our guide and scooter driver (or tuk-tuk, if preferred) will pick you up for a visit to Krabei Riel Village. Explore the daily activities of the villagers, including their work in vegetable gardens, rice fields, and weaving. Take numerous breaks for pictures and engage in interactions with the friendly locals. Arrive at Mr. Ron's house, where his family will warmly welcome you. Experience a captivating cooking class led by his wife, Mrs. Sina. Our guide will introduce you to the family and take you on a tour of their vegetable garden before you begin learning to cook three traditional Cambodian dishes alongside Mrs. Sina. Indulge in the delicious food you have prepared for dinner, bid farewell to Mr. Ron's family, and let our scooter driver(s) ride you back to your hotel in Siem Reap.
