Choosing to spend 3 days in Koh Yao Yai with our family was definitely the right decision for both my wife and me, as well as for the kids. With about 90% of the local population being Muslim, this island offers a serene, quiet atmosphere, perfect for relaxing and enjoying quality family time, far from the usual hustle and bustle. The untouched beauty of its long, pristine beaches, the friendliness of the locals, and the unique cultural experiences left us with unforgettable memories.

Our first day in Koh Yao Yai started with a visit to Koh Yao Elephant Care & House, one of the most memorable experiences of our trip, where we had the chance to learn about the lives of these majestic creatures and discover the local culture. Later, we enjoyed some wonderful beach time at the stunning Laem Haad Beach.

On the second day of our Koh Yao Yai itinerary 3 days, we headed to the southern part of the island to visit Mini Farm Santhiya, where the kids had a blast feeding adorable animals and enjoying the fresh, open-air environment of a small farm. In the afternoon, our family had an unforgettable experience kayaking through the mangrove forests in the south, exploring the diverse ecosystem and soaking in the tranquility of nature.

2. Day 2 : Exciting outdoor activities for a family trip to Koh Yao Yai

On the second day of our 3-day Koh Yao Yai trip, we headed to the southern part of the island, about 20 km from our beachfront hotel near Laem Haad.
