We had a wonderful river view room with a bath and balcony, fantastic views of the river up and down, excellent food, and excellent service from the staff. As a result of a negative experience at the Son Tra resort in Da Nang, we chose to stay at the Royal instead. I made my first reservation outside of Hoi An Old Town, and I enjoyed my visit at the resort. It depends on your preference for the bustle and noise of Hoi An or the quiet, peaceful setting if you want to be close to conveniences and the city (15–20 minutes by taxi into Old Town). To get around, my husband rented a scooter, so nothing was too far. The resort has a lovely, tranquil setting, a sizable pool, and excellent amenities. We especially appreciated the spa, gym, and meals.

A gorgeous hotel in a prime location near the river and lovely beaches. The hotel personnel are the most considerate and charming individuals. The breakfast buffet is fantastic. One of the greatest accommodations we've ever had. Free shuttle service is provided to the beach, the fantastic Esco bar, and the town.

We recently stayed in Hoi An for four nights, and we couldn't be happier with the Bay Resort we chose. The staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The pool area was lavish, and the pool bar was fully equipped. We used the hotel bikes to tour the island, and they were excellent. The selection of western and regional foods during breakfast was excellent. Even the location was perfect for getting to the bustling Hoi An strip on foot while still being quiet enough for a good night's sleep. While visiting Hoi An, I would without a doubt suggest staying at this hotel.

There is no reason not to stay here. There are 4 pools to select from, free bikes to ride, and an amazing breakfast with a wide variety of alternatives. The staff is incredibly welcoming and helpful. The rooms are enormous, and there is tea and coffee available. Our suite even included a sauna and a wooden bath. A swimming pool, one of which is salt water, appears to be visible from many rooms. I heartily endorse this hotel.
