Full day: Depart To Golden Rock In Kyaiktiyo Pagoda From Yangon (Lunch)

Our guide and driver will pick you up at 6 am from your Yangon hotel. We'll drive for about 3.5 hours to Kyaiktiyo Pagoda, famously known as The Golden Rock in Kyaikhto Township. Upon reaching the mountain's base, you'll transfer to open trucks for a 45-minute journey uphill. The Golden Rock, perched on a 1,100-meter-high mountain, is a place of pilgrimage where people worship and add gold leaf to the rock.

Enjoy 360-degree panoramic views of the Mon State Mountains while dressing modestly. Only males can add gold leaves via a small bridge. You can also trek for an hour to Crow Mouth and Kyee Kan Mouth, where tossing a coin grants a wish.

Local shops offer religious items, and there are eateries and gift shops.

In the afternoon, we'll return to the mountain's base, passing through several townships. We'll stop at a local restaurant for tea or coffee before heading back to Yangon, where our driver will safely take you to your hotel after this incredible trip to Kyaiktiyo Pagoda.
