On this day, we embark on a journey to explore the prominent landmarks of the capital city. Our first stop is Wat Sisaket, a revered temple known for its unique architecture and an impressive collection of over 8,000 Buddha statues. Next, we head to Wat Ho Prakeo, which houses the highly venerated Emerald Buddha statue.
We then proceed to visit That Luang Stupa, a monumental structure that holds great significance in the history of Laos. This magnificent edifice is considered the most important national monument in the country. Our final destination for the morning is Patuxay, a city landmark that pays tribute to the brave soldiers who lost their lives in wars.
As the day progresses, we head towards Buddha Park, a captivating site located near the Friendship Bridge. The park boasts of an enchanting display of over 200 Buddhist and Hindu sculptures, each with a unique story to tell. We spend our afternoon wandering through this surreal wonderland, marveling at the intricate details and the artistic finesse of each sculpture.

You will be picked up by our driver and transferred to the airport for your morning flight to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a local guide who will accompany you to your hotel.

Begin with a visit to Vat Xiengthong, a temple celebrated for its captivating beauty and frequently photographed. Situated at the tip of a peninsula where the Mekong and Khan Rivers converge, it offers a picturesque setting.
Next, explore the former Royal Palace, which now serves as the National Museum. Immerse yourself in the rich history as you wander through its halls. Don't miss the opportunity to visit Wat Mai, a renowned temple known for its exquisite golden bas-relief. During Pimai, the Lao New Year, the revered Prabang statue, typically housed in the Royal Palace Museum, is publicly displayed in this temple.

Following this enlightening experience, take a moment to explore vibrant local markets before returning to the hotel for breakfast.
In the morning, you will be transferred to the pier, where you'll board a traditional long-tail boat for a leisurely cruise upstream along the majestic Mekong River. As you soak in the breathtaking mountain scenery, witness the simple rural lifestyles that unfold along the riverbanks. Your journey will lead you to the Pak Ou caves, located at the convergence of the Mekong and Nam Ou Rivers. Within these two caves, you will encounter a remarkable display of sacred centuries-old Buddha images, revered and visited by pilgrims during the Lao New Year festivities in mid-April. Afterward, cruise back to Luang Prabang, making a stop at the weaving village of Ban Xangkhong. Here, you can engage with local experts, gaining hands-on experience as you delve into the world of weaving on wooden looms.
In the afternoon, embark on a scenic drive through verdant rice paddies and charming farms. Upon reaching the Kuang Si waterfall, indulge in a short walk along the trail, immersing yourself in the captivating beauty of the cascading falls. Marvel at the turquoise pools and the series of calcified tiers that create a mesmerizing spectacle, while the park reveals its enchanting orchid-filled surroundings.
