We chose to go at the end of November, an ideal period with mild temperatures, ranging between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius. The dry season, almost without rain, allowed us to visit the must-see sites without any problems and to fully enjoy various activities, such as hiking and cycling.

In the afternoon, we explored the Blue Lagoon, a natural site located about 7 km from the city. This place is a true haven of tranquility, with its deep pools of crystal blue water. After tasting some local beers, we returned to the hotel to rest and prepare for a day of trekking planned for the next day. This evening was a perfect conclusion to a day full of discoveries and emotions.
Our second day started with a visit to Tham Jang Cave, which is reached by a scenic path. This cave, known for its historical and cultural significance, exudes a mystical atmosphere thanks to its impressive rock formations. In addition to Tham Jang, we also discovered Tham Sang and Tham Nam Caves by tubing, a very exciting experience. We also went kayaking on the Nam Song River, where we enjoyed grilled meat served on banana leaves, a must-see Lao specialty.
To round off our day, we chose a calming activity on the Nam Song River. Settled in our kayaks, we were captivated by the natural splendor of Vang Vieng, letting our minds wander with the flow while savoring the tranquility of the water.
Our last day on the Vang Vieng 3 days tour was filled with chilling. We started by exploring the local markets, where we found beautiful handcrafted souvenirs, such as fabric bags and handmade jewelry.
