11:45 - 12:00: Guests are taken from Indochina Sails's Tuan Chau Pier to Indochine Cruise by speedboat or tender. They're welcomed with a drink, given a cruise briefing, and safety instructions.
13:15 - 14:00: Lunch is served.
15:30: The crew of the Indochine Cruise guides passengers to explore the Dark and Bright (also known as Bat Cave) grotto, renowned for its stunning limestone formations and fascinating natural habitat. Guests can opt for kayaking or a bamboo sampan ride through the tunnel, allowing them to relax and appreciate the tranquil and natural surroundings.
16:30: Return to the cruise for a swim in Lan Ha Bay.
17:45: The cruise sails for about 30 minutes to anchor overnight.
18:15: Guests join a Fruit and Vegetable Carving Lesson with the Head Chef. During the lesson, the chef demonstrates fruit and vegetable carving techniques, showcasing traditional Vietnamese food decoration.
19:15: Dinner is served with a set menu.
20:30: Evening activities begin. Board games such as cards or Parcheesi are available, and guests can also try their hand at squid fishing on the boat with assistance from the crew of this Lan Ha Bay cruise.
22:30: Day 1 program ends.
06:00: Enjoy coffee, tea, and breakfast pastries in the dining room.
06:15: Join a Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck.
07:15: Indochine Cruise crew takes guests to visit Trung Trang Cave on Cat Ba Island.
09:00: Freshen up and pack belongings. Collect all items from cabins and leave heavy luggage outside.
09:30: Brunch is served in the restaurant. Bills are settled after brunch. Relax on the sundeck or in the restaurant as we approach the pier.
11:00: Arrive at Indochina Sails’s Pier at Tuan Chau Port.
3 days itinerary
11:45 - 12:00: Begin boarding our boat at Tuan Chau Port. Enjoy a welcome drink, receive an briefing about Indochine Cruise, and safety instructions.
13:15 - 14:00: After boarding, indulge in lunch while cruising towards the Lan Ha Bay.
15:30: The crew takes passengers to visit the Dark and Bright (Bat Cave) grotto, known for its stunning limestone formations and unique natural habitat. Explore the cave by kayaking or bamboo sampan, guided by local experts, and spend your time relaxing and enjoying the serene surroundings.
16:30: Return to the cruise and enjoy swimming in the bay.

08:00: Embark on an authentic short adventure by transferring from our luxurious cruise to a local boutique day boat for a traditional Vietnamese voyage to Viet Hai village. Explore the idyllic enclave and rustic homes of the residents, followed by a bicycle or electric van ride along village paths to witness the stunning landscape of Cat Ba Island. This unique experience offers an immersive opportunity to engage in the life of local fishermen and embrace a simpler, more authentic lifestyle.
12:00: Lunch will be served on the local boat.
13:00: Continue to explore Lan Ha Bay.
17:00: Return to the Indochine Cruise and relax onboard as we sail to the overnight anchorage.
18:15: Attend the Fruit and Vegetable Carving Lesson led by our Head Chef, showcasing traditional Vietnamese food decoration techniques.
19:15: Special dinner is served at the restaurant
20:30: Participate in evening activities such as board games or squid fishing with assistance from the crew.
22:30: End of Day 2 program.
06:00: Continental breakfast including coffee, tea, and breakfast pastries served in the restaurant.
06:30: Participate in a Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck, lasting about 30 minutes.
07:15: Cruise crew guides guests to visit Trung Trang Cave on Cat Ba Island.
09:00: After returning to the boat, guests have 30 minutes to freshen up and finish packing. All belongings should be collected from the cabins, and heavy luggage should be left outside the cabins for direct transfer to the pier by staff.
09:30: Enjoy a brunch in the restaurant. Bills are settled after brunch. Relax on the sundeck or in the restaurant while admiring Lan Ha Bay as we approach the pier.
11:00: Arrive at Indochina Sails’ Pier at Tuan Chau Port.

Notes
- What time does Halong cruise start / end?
- For the overnight options (2 days/1night ; 3 days/2nights), boarding typically occurs between 12:00 pm and 13:00 pm at various ports such as Tuan Chau Port, Bai Chay Sungroup Port, Vinashin Hon Gai Port, Cai Lan, or Ben Beo Port on Cat Ba island. Your journey wraps up around 11:00 - 11:30 on the final day, with a smooth return to the port. By late afternoon, typically between 15:30 - 16:00, you'll find yourself back at your Hanoi hotel.
- For day cruises, there are two time frames:
- Morning: run from 9:00 am to 14:00 pm.
- Afternoon: around 12:30 pm to 17:00 pm, with return to Hanoi around 20:00.
- Note: If you're planning to catch a flight on the same day, it's advisable to aim for a domestic flight after 17:00 or an international one after 18:00.
- Children policy:
- Kids under 5 years old stay free when sharing a room with parents (F.O.C). If two under 5 years old share a bed, the second child pays 75% of an adult's rate.
- Children aged 5 to under 11 pay 75% of the adult price when staying on a separate bed. If two kids share a private room, they pay 80% of the adult rate.
- If two children under 11 years old sleep in a separate room, they will be charged at the double room rate. However, if only one child sleeps in a separate room, 80% of the double room rate will be charged.
- Children aged 11 years and older are charged the full adult rate.
- Cancellation by Customer:
- If canceled more than 21 days before check-in: No charge
- From 11 to 20 days before check-in: 30% of total rates
- From 7 to 10 days before check-in: 50% of total rates
- Less than 7 days before check-in & no show: 100% of total rates
- Cancellation due to bad weather: Should the Management Board of Halong Bay announce a cancellation:
- If canceled before departure from Hanoi to Halong Bay (with no services utilized): A full refund of 100%.
- If canceled during the trip (with some services already utilized, such as transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Halong, etc.): Charges will be applied for the services used, with the remaining amount refunded.
- If the trip is shortened from 2 nights to 1 night, guests will be charged for a 2 days/1 night trip, along with any used services, and the rest refunded.
