"Relaxing and memorable retreat! One night at Perle d'Orient was fantastic. Incredible view, beautiful room, and lovely staff. The Western dishes were delicious and comforting. The nearby beach was peaceful, and we slept very well in the king-size bed. The spa was an exceptional experience, with attentive staff. The massage was simply the best we've ever had! “Although it's being renovated soon, this was by far, the best choice on the island. It's expensive but if you want a nice beach that is mostly clean, staff that speak english well and are kind and helpful and rooms that are clean with hot showers, this is the place. We went in October and it was pretty quiet. The beach can be public but wasn't too busy at all while we were there. We had to get adjoining rooms for our family of 4 but it felt very safe. We would have stayed longer if we could have.”

"Dung Lai Hotel is great! Especially because it is very close to kayak rental. The hotel is owned by a very kind and helpful local family. They have motorcycles available for rent to explore the island and serve delicious breakfasts. However, the reason we chose this place is its location, just a 2-minute walk from the pier where you can rent kayaks for the day and enjoy them on your own. Popular restaurants are also located under the pier, which provides a unique experience for a delicious seafood dinner."
